As part of the iHeartRadio network, the station benefits from a strong digital ecosystem, maintaining an active social media presence fueled by a consistent stream of unique and engaging content.

I was tasked with documenting Lorna Subritzky’s adventure through Cairns, Australia. Together, we planned the content, then I handled the filming and editing while Lorna effortlessly brought her trademark charisma. The result was a series of fourteen videos, rolled out across Coast FM’s social channels.

If you’ve seen the Driven Raptor video, this location might look familiar. It’s where it all began. I started the day not knowing much beyond “shooting some car stuff” with The Hits team. That spontaneous shoot sparked a creative partnership that led to me directing most of Sam Wallace’s content.

While at NZME, I shot dozens of similar videos across a range of brands including Flava, OneRoof, NZ Herald, and Newstalk ZB. The role exposed me to a variety of unique projects and experiences. Over time, I became someone who could be thrown at any project and get it done.

As with many outdoor shoots, I usually end up covered in mud—but on one hot, sunny day, it was dust instead.
