NZMA Trades school
NZMA Trades engaged me to produce a 30-minute documentary showcasing the experiences of their tutors and students across various training programs. The film aimed to highlight the hands-on learning environment and the positive impact of trades education on students' lives. From this main documentary, I also created a suite of short-form content, reels and social media clips, allowing NZMA to extend the reach and lifespan of the project across multiple platforms and audiences.
I created a series of social media reels, paid pre-roll ads, and general online video content to showcase the lifestyle, facilities, and hands-on learning environment at NZMA campuses. These assets were designed to support both brand awareness and student recruitment, giving prospective learners an engaging and authentic glimpse into campus life. The combination of long-form storytelling and short-form promotional content gave NZMA a versatile and effective suite of video material for multiple channels.

My relationship with NZMA began in 2016 and continued through to 2022, during which time I worked across a broad range of video content to support their internal communications, student recruitment, and advertising efforts. I interviewed staff and students, captured key events, and produced everything from long-form documentaries to short social media ads. Highlights include a 30-minute film featuring tutors and students at NZMA Trades, as well as a suite of reels, paid pre-rolls, and promotional videos showcasing campus life and facilities. This long-term collaboration allowed me to build a deep understanding of the organisation and consistently deliver content that aligned with their goals.
